Wake County Public School System Preschool Programs We provide preschool services for eligible children through our Title I Pre-Kindergarten Program and our Preschool Special Education Services within the Office of Early Learning.
Registration is not required. The following items are needed to complete the application: • a copy of the child's birth certificate • Proof of your Wake County address (current water, gas, or electric bill in parent's name, new signed lease, or offer to purchase agreement). • any source of family income (check stubs, statement from supervisor or case worker).
Wcpss Pre K Program
Pre-Kindergarten Application Process 2019-20 WCSS is accepting applications for Wake County Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K) Programs including NC Pre-K, Title I and Head Start. Wake County Pre-K programs are publicly funded. They prepare children for school by using a program that enhances children’s physical, social, emotional and intellectual development. To be considered for 2019-20 Wake County Pre-K programs, your child must be 4 years old on or before August 31, 2019. Applications received after April 30, 2019 will be considered for NC Pre-K and Head Start.
